Ok ive kept the challenges quite easy and liberal over the last few weeks so gonna make this one a little more detailed and to get you to put your thinking caps on. Create a layout with 4 photos but the total area that the photos cover is only allowed to be 5 inches by 5 inches. The rest of the layout can take upto 3 inches around the photos, and the rest of the page is to be blank. What and how you use up the space is up to you. SORRY ABOUT DELAY OF DRAWING RAFFLE

Never thought it would be sooo bloody difficult to get a damn raffle drawn, 4 trips to the police station, and my friend who I asked if I could video her drawing it, but I wont tell you what she said to me. So now im gonna have to get done tomorrow. Im soooooo sorry for the suspense.

And ill add a little bit as an extra challenge for those who want to get extra creative. Create original flowers out of fabroc lace or anything other than paper or chipboard

Crops days in Chch and Feilding

Hey all, well the crops are all over and i am buggered along with Nic in Chch and Sandra who ran the Feilding one with me. Unfortunately when i set the crop date I did it on the same day that Jen Tracy and Myself were supposed to be in Turangi on a crop weekend and since we had cancelled the weekend we now had this date free, there was another scrap camp on just out of Palmerston North which i didnt know about on, so a lot of people had already committed to that. But we still had an awsome time with 13 great ladies. I would like to say a huge thanks to Sandra, her daughter Neen and Neens friend Hannah for their awsome effort and help in running the crop. I will put some photos up later as Im about to go to bed. There are still raffle tickets available and we have also added a 7th prize (will add picture of it tomorrow). The raffle will be drawn on Friday so get in quick. Cheers to all of you who have bought tickets so far its greatly appreciated.

Thats all I could say when the courier dropped off the big box of goodies that arrived from the United States. It was from the wonderful lead Fiskateer ladies Cheryl, Angela, Wendy Jo, Kelly Jo and Rebecca and awsome company Fiskars. Tracy and the fellow crop organisers belong to this fab scrapbooking and crafting site. We have been keeping up to date the ladies and other members of this site with the sad event that has taken place. Many of the site members mainly from America sent their condolances and also sent cards and donations for Auckland to raffle off. Fiskars sent over a huge box of items that we will be putting up for auction on Trade Me once we have finished the crops. Once again I would like to thank fiskateers and Fiskars for their generousity and support, it truely has been amazing

Ok this week is a little different. to change it up a bit you challenge is to finish one of those projects that has been sitting in your draw for the last 10 years, or catch up with on eof the challenges you have missed. It does not have to be scrapbooking related, but more of a general craft. Have fun start date yesterday lol and have finished by 9pm sunday 20th June. finish one prject get one entry into prize draw, finish 2 and get 3 entries finish 3 or more and get 5 entries. So you have to be honest lol. have fun

PRICE OF RAFFLE TICKETS AND DETAILS ON HOW TO BUY

Ok ladies, have your say. Keeping in mind its for an awsome cause!!! Do you think that $10 a ticket and only 100 tickets for the raffle is too expensive (1 in 20 chance of winning and probably more prizes to add once i have them sent to me)or $5 a ticket and sell more tickets (if we can sell more tickets than 100). leave a comment and ill set a price later. Ok how to buy the tickets (the only way i can think of which might put some of you off lol) If you email me i will send you my bank account details and you can transfer money into my accout which will be drawn straight out. Hope you are all happy with that or if you have a better way of getting money to me id be more than happy to do

Challenge 44

Create a single page layout using an old black and white photo or sepia photo, the layout has to be vintage to suit the era of the photo. you can use colour but has to be of the era of photo, so you may have to go and google designs of that time. eg 1940's they used the colours in the link below. Any questions just ask and all layouts submitted for this challenge will go into the June random prize draw. Have fun and have layouts uploaded by 9pm June 7th.
